As founder, president and broker for Mt. Washington Realty, Julie Nagesh has earned the respect of clients and colleagues for her professionalism, accomplishments and dedication to her clients.
Her method is to guide clients through all stages of the real estate process, from assessment of needs, realistic goal setting and economic decision-making to the accomplishment of goals and dreams. She is a trusted and reliable participant in all steps of the real estate process which she keeps as simple and painless as possible for her clients.
Julie founded Mt. Washington Realty in 1991. As a native of Southern California and a resident of that hilltop residential community since 1978, she has considerable knowledge of Mt. Washington and the surrounding communities of Los Angeles County. She entered the real estate profession in 1976, where she worked as a top-producing agent for a Century 21. Her commitment to real estate has involved serving on the Board of Directors of the Northeast Realty Multiple Listing Service for several years. During her presidency of that small, historic organization in 1997, she negotiated a successful union of the Northeast MLS with the Glendale Association of Realtors, a merger that benefited both organizations and their members.
Julie Nagesh's commitment to public service also resulted in her election as vice president of the Mt. Washington Association in 1998 and 1999. She served on the Board of Directors for many years and still contributes to its newsletter. She has also served on the Arroyo Seco Neighborhood Council as its Business, Wholesale and Retail Representative.
Prior to her real estate career, Julie taught art in Globe, Arizona. A native of Southern California, she was born and raised in Pasadena. She obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art from the University of Arizona, with a minor in Spanish. She studied in both France and Spain and is fluent in French and Spanish – a language that she finds useful in Southern California. In addition, she fuses glass into colorful works of art which are presented in galleries and shows. You might like to visit her glass website.
Julie shares her home with husband, Sri Nagesh, a computer programmer/analyst at Kaiser Permanente, and their dog, Chula.
